Produced in northern Italy at the end of the fifteenth century, Sola Busca is the oldest complete set of 78 tarot cards to reach us. The figures were printed from copper plates and later colored by hand with extraordinary detail Its name comes from the Milanese Sola Busca family, former owners of the deck. The original set is now held by the Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan. This digital edition brings together historical reproductions in the public domain Calling a reading the future is poetic language.
